A Message from Bill Souders, Team Leader

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. I have been attending River Rock since October 2003. One of the things that drew me to River Rock was that Men were actively involved in serving the church. I began serving the church through various events as well as in our Kids Creek nursery. Eventually I attended one of the Men's Life Groups and I was so encouraged to see that other men were willing to share their lives with one another. As a man I no longer felt alone in my Christian walk. I feel this is so important that I have volunteered to be the Team Leader for Men's Ministry and a leader of a Men's Life Group. That is what Men's Ministry is about, standing side by side encouraging each other.

Proverbs 27:17 As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.

The Men's Ministry team would like to challenge the Men of River Rock to take an active role in the upcoming events sponsored by our church. Volunteers are always needed. This is a great opportunity to serve God, the church and our community. I look forward to meeting you, please let me know how I can serve you.
