Volunteer Opportunities

Service Groups at River Rock Church are a great chance to get out and help! If you feel like your talents are best used through action-oriented activities or would like to get involved in helping the church and others, check out some of the service opportunities below!

First Serve
Many people really want to serve at River Rock but aren't sure where to start. First Serve gives you the opportunity to try different areas of service without a long-term committment. Experiment until you find an area of effective and satisfying service. For more information call 360.885.9000.

Guest Services
Making people feel welcome is a high priority at River Rock. We want to provide an atmosphere that sets people at ease from the moment they walk in the building. Are you the hospitable type? Maybe you have an artistic flair for decoration, or you're just great with people. Maybe you have a gift for baking, or like directing people to where they need to go. Share Your Gift of Music!
The River Rock Band is looking for vocalists (especially sopranos), drummers, bassists and electric guitarists. Interested? Please contact the church office at 360.885.9000.

Plug in with Drama
It's not just for actors! Our goal is to have at least one drama a month, maybe more. In order to pull this off, we need your help. If you love to act, can build sets, enjoy writing short plays, or have any other talents or gifts you've been waiting to share, we need you! Road/Tech Crew
Here's a chance to use your brains and your brawn! The River Rock team could use your help with set-up and take-down, and with the technical aspects of presenting a Sunday service with sound, lights, and video. You don't have to be a genius -- we'll provide the training! Join a great bunch of people in this important ministry.

Kid's Creek
Kid's Creek is a place where children of all ages have fun and learn about God in a safe and loving environment. If you would like to serve in one of our church's most vital ministries, and make a major investment in the lives of children, Kids Creek may be the place for you!

Prayer Ministry
