Thank you all that have found time to help in the framing and the tech team
over the past few weeks. We are currently trying to complete all the final
framing by this Saturday and we plan to install all of the low voltage
wiring (rough in) for the phones and computer network.
The electrical rough in should be completed by Tuesday along with the plumbing, HVAC, and fire sprinklers. That should allow for an inspection and
sheetrock will start going up hopefully by Wednesday. The sheetrock should
take 1 1/2 weeks or so and we will be on to painting and finish work.
Our goal is to be in the building by June 8th or close to it with a Grand Opening planned for June 22nd! This is an exciting time to see this become a
reality!!

After almost 18 months of solid searching and negotiating for a church building, River Rock Church has signed to lease a 10,746 square foot, brand new building in Camas. This is an exciting time for us as we look to complete the building and move into it the space before this summer. The building is located at 2008 SE 8th Avenue in Camas. It has plenty of space for us to grow to the next level as a church and to be able to expand our ministries for East Clark County.
As part of the deal River Rock will be responsible for part of the labor to build out this building to meet our needs. This will be an awesome time to use our abilities to complete this building for our ministry. We are expecting to be able to start construction within 30 days and possibly have occupancy by June 1st or thereabouts.
Please consider how you or your family can assist us in completing this great task. We will be looking for people who can provide labor to complete this build out and of course we will all need to work towards fulfilling our Ripple Affect financial commitments. If you did not have to opportunity to pledge during that time please pray how you can participate to make this vision a reality.

We have continued to pursue the opportunities that God has opened the doors
for us to consider. In that process (as in our own lives) God has shut many
doors where He obviously hasn't wanted us to go. As of this past week we have
started negotiations on a building approximetely 11,000 square-feet in size. It is a
new building with great exposure in East Clark County. We will continue to
pursue this opportunity, as we have many others, until God either helps us to
make it happen or shows us a different direction. Please continue
to pray for God's leading and direction to show us what's next for River Rock
Church.

Congratulations River Rock! Last week we had over $65,000 given
in one Sunday. That was a tremendous response and because of it
we now have had $97,000 given towards our building campaign and
our year-to-date general fund is at budget also. What a privilege
it is to Pastor such a generous church and to see people respond
to this campaign has been amazing. Thank you for making "First
Fruits" Sunday a gigantic success!!

What an exciting time to be a part of River Rock Church. We had
over 100 people attend the River Rock banquet and what a night it
was. It was so exciting to see what a strong core God has given
this church and the commitment to move forward to obtain a permanent
presence in East Clark County was unanimous. So far, after receiving
commitments from the families that were present, we have $545,000
committed to the Ripple Affect building campaign over the next three
years. This is what people have committed to giving above their
current giving so that this church can have its own building. This
is so awesome and I can’t wait to see what God does in our
"First Fruits" offering on March 18th. This is when people
will bring their first contribution towards the campaign. We are
hoping to have the single largest offering we have ever had as we
pursue God's purpose in East Clark County.

Last Sunday evening we had an incredible opportunity to meet with
all of the leaders of River Rock Church to make our commitments
towards the Ripple Affect Building Campaign. We had about 40 adults
show up and it was just a great time of hanging out and worshipping
together. These are the kind of people I would like to hang out
with no matter what I was doing in life. At the end of the evening
those that were ready made their commitments and we had over $330,000
committed to the Ripple Affect Campaign over the next three years.
It is so awesome to see how God has united this core group of leaders
and we are looking forward to next weeks banquet where we will have
the whole church body make their commitments.

Sunday
we presented the Ripple Affect building campaign in service.
This campaign is the single greatest endeavor this church has ever
sought to accomplish. The goal of this campaign is to raise the
finances required to build out the facility once we have a location.
While we don’t know the exact details, I am reminded of the
example of Abraham when he was directed in Genesis; “…go
to the land that I will show you.” God has clearly called
us as a church to take this step of faith and to begin to raise
the necessary finances to locate in the building that he directs
us to. If you were not present Sunday you can click
here to download the brochure we handed out. More information
will be posted on this site as we have it available.
