We inspire to build lives and transform community living out our Mission to Connect, Serve, and Grow by helping one another on a daily basis.  God has blessed each of us with spiritual gifts and passions that are waiting to be used.  There are unlimited ways to touch another person's heart and impact their lives.  Through Operation Kindness, the outreach ministry of River Rock Church, we strive to reach out to our community by improving the quality of quality of life and sharing the love of Christ.  There are four ministry divisions of Operation Kindness:  Homeless & Hungry, Kids In Need, Community Improvement, and Global Impact.

     

Coffee Revolution was also born out of a desire to make a significant impact in our community through Operation Kindness.  Coffee Revolution exists NOT to make money, but to GIVE IT away: 25% of EVERY SALE is given back into the community.

At River Rock, we strive to help people create balance in their spiritual lives just as we should in all areas of our lives.  It doesn't matter if you're just starting your spiritual voyage or have been following Jesus for many years - you can find a place to serve at River Rock.

Facilities - Members of this team strive to make sure River Rock is a warm, inviting place at all times by making sure the building is clean and fully operational for our weekly services and ministries.

Guest Services - Guest Services' priority is to make people feel welcome at River Rock.  We want to create an atmosphere that puts people at ease the moment they walk in the building.  Guest Services includes the Greeting Team, the Information Desk Team, the Ushering Team, and Coffee Revolution.

Kid's Creek - Kid's Creek is River Rock's ministry for infants through 5th grade.  Volunteers will help kids have a great time while learning about Jesus in a relevant way.  There are several opportunities to serve in this ministry from being a lead teacher to being part of a curriculum team.  Kid's Creek is a great opportunity to impact the life of a child in a positive way and show them how much they are loved by Jesus.  If you have a passion for teaching and caring for children, we would love to have you on the Kid's Creek Team.

Life Groups - Life Groups are small groups of people that meet during the week throughout our community.  These long term groups provide a place for people to connect with others and grow spiritually.  Opportunities to serve include being a Life Group Host who can create an atmosphere in their homes or meeting space that is conducive to the overall warmth of a Life Group meeting.  If you have a passion to connect people and help them grow in God's word, you may consider being a Life Group Leader or Apprentice.  Also, Life Clubs at River Rock provide a place for people to hang out with others while participating in a common activity.  Leaders of Life Clubs can provide this connection point for people especially for someone new to River Rock.

Office Support - Office Support gives vital assistance to the creative and administrative aspect of River Rock's church staff and office.  Volunteers can help with on-going projects or with individual projects as the need arises.

Operation Kindness - Join River Rock in reaching out and serving our community by helping one another on a daily basis.  God has blessed each of us with spiritual gifts and passions that are waiting to be used.  There are unlimited ways to touch another person's heart and impact their lives.

Student Ministries - The Student Ministries at River Rock provide a fun and energetic place for students Grade 6 - 12 to make friends and learn about God.  The students come from differing backgrounds, families, and walks of life and we're passionate about reaching all of them and making a difference in their lives!

Worship & Arts - The Worship & Arts teams exist to help engage people in a relationship with God.  Our mission is to bridge the gap between people who follow Jesus Christ and those in our community who do not.  We attempt to do this in culturally relevant ways through our various gifts and abilities, and at the same time give all glory, honor, and praise to God.  Opportunities to serve include auditioning for the Worship Team or making things happen behind-the-scenes with tech support or video production.
